Miriam D'Souza

Ambassador and Former Board Member

Miriam is a projects and infrastructure lawyer at Norton Rose Fulbright, based in Perth. Throughout her career, Miriam has advocated for gender equality and policies that aid the retention of senior women in both law and the construction industry, with a particular focus on flexible working and mentoring.

With more than 17 years’ experience in the construction industry Miriam’s focus is on the mining, social infrastructure, waste and water sectors.

She has a depth of experience acting for both the private sector and government. Miriam is passionate about working on WA based projects and has advised on a range of major WA projects.

Miriam is a Mentor with the Mentor Walks program and has been actively involved with the WA Chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) since its inception in 2009. In 2018 Miriam was appointed to the board of NAWIC and is a current serving board member, contributing to the strategic direction of that organisation.
