2020 Annual Forum of the Australian Gender Equality Council

As we head into the new year this is an important message to SAVE THE DATE for the 2020 Annual Forum of the Australian Gender Equality Council, which is being held in Sydney on Wednesday 1st & Thursday 2nd April 2020.
With the successful release of AGEC’s Manifesto for Gender Equality in 2019, we see 2020 as an important year to grow AGEC’s impact and influence by progressing our core objectives. Our successes to date have demonstrated that collaboration with our Member Organisations and key stakeholders is critical to gaining momentum on key gender equality priorities. With your help we see this as the focus of the 2020 Annual Members’ Forum.
The Agenda for AGEC’s 2020 Annual Forum will focus on the domains of the Manifesto we collectively see as priorities for action in 2020 and to identify initiatives where we can collaborate or leverage to make real progress in the year ahead.
The outcomes of the 2019 Forum demonstrated the value of the 2-day format and your feedback told us that spending time together, and learning more about each of our Member Organisations, and your initiatives, was enormously beneficial. So we are keen to get as many of our Member Organisations and key stakeholders together again for the 2020 Annual Forum.
