Following extensive member consultation AGEC has launched its refreshed manifesto and its strategic goals. Importantly our vision remains the same – a gender equal Australia. We have clarified our focus as the collective voice for our members and highlighted the critical importance of addressing society’s stereotypes if we are to achieve a gender equal Australia. We have set five clear objectives:
- advocate for a National Gender Equality Strategy
- build strong member relationships
- raise the collective voice of our membership
- drive research, funding and initiatives
- monitor and evaluate progress
