Vy Pham

AGEC Board Member & Communications Director 2020-2024

Vy has made an extraordinary contribution to AGEC during her time on the Board. Vy is a collaborative and creative strategy execution professional with 16 years’ experience in shaping and operationalising business strategies, working best in deep-thinking, fast-moving, mission-driven teams focused on creating human-centred experiences across the Asia Pacific region.

She is currently a Digital Platform Product Owner for the Asia-Pacific region at Zurich Insurance Group. In her professional career she is responsible for maximising value of a portfolio of strategic growth initiatives, with regular reporting to Board and Executive teams on progress. She is responsible for driving the innovation culture and have mentored and executed a number of hackathons to accelerate a forward-thinking and fast-adopting culture in organisations.

As a first-generation immigrant, she is passionate about diversity, inclusion and the power of connection. Vy’s work in the not-for-profit space is focused on activating and advocating to support the most vulnerable people in our community and is a current serving Non-Executive Director with UN Women Australia (since 2019), Australian Gender Equality Council (since 2020) and Mr Perfect (since August 2022). She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from University of Queensland and is certified in Product Ownership, Design Thinking and Human Centred Design.
