Engineers Australia
With around 100,000 individual members, Engineers Australia is the profession’s peak body. We are the voice of the profession, and exist to advance the science and practice of engineering for the benefit of the community.
Our high standards, globally-recognised credentials and international agreements enable Engineers Australia members to live and work around the world – with our members currently in more than 120 countries.
Engineers Australia aims to create tomorrow’s engineers, provide a professional home for life and be the trusted voice of the profession. We are committed to representing and supporting our profession towards achieving a more diverse and inclusive workforce. Engineers Australia provide tools and information to assist our stakeholders and members implement their own diversity and inclusion goals and actions.
Engineers Australia has a dedicated Women in Engineering National strategy and Committee network to support implementation of a range of targets around gender diversity and inclusion. We promote gender diversity through participation in STEM initiatives to attract more women to engineering, and to retain them, by showcasing women leaders in engineering and actively participating in a range of other diversity advocacy groups and initiatives.
