In November 2018, AGEC released its first research report into gender differences in career aspiration, self-confidence and leadership of school age children entitled “Hands Up For Gender Equality”. The groundbreaking study dispelled the common myth that girls have lower confidence levels than boys in certain school environments, but revealed disturbing gender biases in career preferences and choices. The Report highlights the critical role of our education system in eliminating gender base in our workplace.
