SUMMARY:Preventing and Responding to Sexual Harassment in the Workplace: A New Approach?
DESCRIPTION:In September\, the Sex Discrimination and Fair Work (Respect at Work) Amendment Act 2021 (Cth) received assent. Described by some as a “missed opportunity”\, it remains to be seen whether the Act will have any real impact on tackling the enduring high incidence of sexual harassment.\nUltimately\, it is becoming increasingly clear that irrespective of the recent legislative amendments\, employers should adopt a work health and safety approach to tackling sexual harassment. \nIn this 45-minute session\, hear from Amber Sharp\, Partner\, McCullough Robertson about the changes\, and what your organisation needs to do in response.\nIn this session\, Amber will cover:\n– A recap on the Respect@Work report\n– Legislative reform: Sex Discrimination and Fair Work (Respect at Work) Amendment Bill 2021 (Cth) and Fair Work Amendment (Respect at Work) Regulations 2021 (Cth)\n– Sexual harassment as a work health and safety issue\n– Responding to complaints and reports.

SUMMARY:Inclusive Leadership with Serendis – 5 virtual\, interactive sessions
DESCRIPTION:How we define success in leadership is changing. To deliver innovation\, performance and productivity in an era of rapid change and complexity\, leaders must leverage diversity. However\, without inclusion\, the key benefits of diversity are lost. \nRather than delivering isolated initiatives that focus solely on enhancing demographic diversity\, there is powerful evidence for expanding our objective toward the development of an inclusive culture that will effectively leverage diversity of thought. \nIf you have been charged with leading people\, have been set diversity targets or KPIs linked to inclusion\, then this series will help you to understand what hinders change\, how to overcome barriers to embedding inclusion as a cultural mindset so you can deliver the best possible outcomes for your organisation. \nDelivered by our long term program partner Serendis\, who facilitate our universally acclaimed Mentoring for Success Program\, these 5 interactive hands-on sessions will drill down into how to really drive cultural change and highlight the key concepts and behaviours required to build an inclusive environment within your teams & organisation. \nYou will undertake a 360-degree survey that provides practical insights and unique recommendations to enhance your inclusive leadership. \nInclusive Leaderships covers:\nFrom fairness to performance: how to position D&I as an organisational strategic advantage\nDispelling myths and (re)-engaging the sceptics\n9 dimensions of inclusive leadership\nEvidence-based and practical behaviours that shape inclusive cultures\nInfluencing change at an organisational level\nHow to deliver measurable and sustainable change in leadership habits \nThe program runs over 5 sessions:\n2nd March – Introduction to Inclusion – 1pm to 3pm AEDT\n6th April – Inclusion360 Debrief – 1pm to 3pm AEDT\n28th April – Psychological Safety – 12pm to 1:30pm AEDT\n26th May – Radical Candour – 1pm to 2:30pm AEDT\n22nd June – Inclusive Culture Change Agent 1pm to 3pm AEDT
